Our Assessment

Assessment is a very natural and intrinsic part of the learning experience at CIS. It is done to develop the confidence and aspiration levels of students while keeping in mind their level of readiness. This not only aids the students in personal evaluation but also gives us a reference point to course correct appropriately, thereby making it formative.

No. of Assessments in a year

    • Periodic Assessment l in the month of July

    • Summative Assessment l in the month of September

    • Periodic Assessment Il in the month of November

    • Mock Assessment in the month of February

    • Summative Assessment Il in the month of March

    • Analytical Assessment (Science, Maths) End of every month from Grade IV to Grade XII

    • Weekly Assessment on Every week (Minimum 2 subjects) and marks of the same would be shared in the class WhatsApp Group.

    • Worksheets for the same will be shared every Friday.

    • LSRW Assessments through Spell Bee, Showcase, Toastmasters.Just a minute

    Our Academic Pattern

    (I) Analytical Assessment (10%)

  • Analytical Assessment(10%) The school conducts Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ's) on the student's analytical skills on a monthly basis and the average (10%) will be calculated in the student's respective Term Assessment which enhances their efficiency in various competitive exams such as NEET, IIT, JEE , BITSAT , VITEEE , CAT, CLAT , NDA etc.

    • (II) LSRW and Weekly Assessment (5%)

  • The school conducts written/oral assessments on a weekly basis and the average (5%) will be calculated in the student's respective Term Assessment.

    • (III) Student Academic/Non-Academic attributes (5%)

  • Academic and Non - Academic attributes includes Discipline , Attendance , Punctuality , Dress Code Maintenance of Notebooks and Textbooks.

    • Our Reporting Pattern

  • In keeping with the pedagogic systems at CIS, our reporting pattern [Report Card] takes a holistic view of the student's development, progress and performance. The Report card gives an analysis of the child's performance which includes their Learner Profile , Socio-emotional strengths , Scholastic performance , Co-curricular and Sports performance.
